“One day I came back to the studio with a friend, and I noticed a special looking kid sitting at the station waiting for his bus. He reminded me of a tough Russian mobster, though you could see he was obviously not more than 16. We talked to him, asked him whether we could photograph him. He told us folks had approached him in the past but he wouldn’t shoot with them, but we looked like nice people and he flew with us… During the shoot, I cut his hair and all styling decisions and whatever were mine and his.” – Dudi Hasson
