How would you describe your style?
Location based photography with a love for the natural, urban, and sexy sides of life.
What do you think is your best work so far?
Hmm… seems to change a lot . Right now it’s a shoot I just did in Sydney. The idea was ‘a day in the life’ of two best friends. I captured them smoking and sun bathing on their hillside rooftop and riding their BMX bikes to the ocean – the shoot was spontaneous and we all had lots of fun. In the end I’m as happy with the images as I am with having had the experience of shooting it.
Three people you would love to work with:
Karen Elson, Lara Stone, Shannan Click
Who do you think is one to watch?
Barack Obama.
Influences

I started out working in the film business but didn’t end up liking it. I was going to community college and my mom signed me up for a summer photo program – still dont know what made her do that.
My favorite thing to do was to take friends out to the desert, give them some wine and take photos.
I decided to study photography in school and after graduating I moved to London to assist and learn everything I could about the business.
We had a sort of hippie, nomadic lifestyle growing up… with all the moving from here to there, my sister and I had no choice but to become adaptable.
What began as something that I complained about has ended up being something that I’m thankful for.
My wife
She listens when I need to bitch, helps me with all my editing and to narrow down ideas… half the time I end up pissed off, but she’s usually always right in the end.
