Fresh off her birthday, 15 year old Ola Straczek is one of the stunning SPP new faces. Ola gave us whiplash thanks to her height and apparent innocence. But much like a Merchant Ivory film, there’s a coquettish appeal that goes deeper. She stands a whopping 180cm and everything looks smashing on her 92cm-65cm-88cm frame.
SPP boss Roman Ziaja tells us it was another of their fabulous models, Agnieszka, who asked if she could bring in her schoolmate Ola. When Ola arrived at the office she completely wowed everyone “not just by her appearance, but by her way of being.” Following standard practice, Roman explained what modeling entails–the pros and the cons–and Ola, showing a responsibility beyond her years, said she would take some time to think about it. Six weeks later she test shot and now she’s well on her way.
Magda from SPP is beaming about Ola’s first job for German clothing brand Elemar. The upcoming campaign depicts Ola in a snowy forest. It’s a “fairytale.”
Roman sums up Ola’s attitude as follows: “Behaving in that totally cool, mature and rational way she does not lose anything of her natural, optimistic and smiling charm, like Gioconda with her mysterious smile.” Lovely!
